Donna Hegdahl - President and CEO
Donna Hegdahl is founder and president of The TransSynergy Group, a company she founded in 1995 to share her passion for marketing.
For large corporations, she and her team bring specialized skills, jump into assignments internal staff doesn’t have time to do, manage projects that don’t fit within the scope of other agencies, and provide a flexible team on initiatives with multiple changes in scope.
She has helped hundreds of small and mid-sized companies successfully get their message to the marketplace and grow their businesses. For entrepreneurial startups, she teaches them how to apply marketing principles at their own companies through strategic consulting services, public relations, seminars and workshops.
Hegdahl’s expertise includes all aspects of strategic and tactical marketing and communications.
Hegdahl has more than 30 years experience in marketing, communications, management, and customer service. Hegdahl was vice president at Micronyx, a Richardson-based software company. Ultimately, the company was sold to PC utility specialists, Fifth Generation Systems, and then merged with Symantec’s Peter Norton Group. She was also instrumental in the marketing success of Comtrol, a Minnesota-based hardware manufacturer, named to Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing high-tech firms in 1986 and 1987.

Hegdahl is a frequent speaker and presenter at industry gatherings. In her spare time, Donna runs, does yoga and heads to the lake.
Jeff Baker has the ability to lead cross functional teams and has strong financial and data analytical skills. He is a strategic thinker with a broad knowledge of the communications industry. He has a BS degree in Marketing from the Ohio State University.
Jeff worked for Verizon/GTE for over 30 years. From those years of experience, Jeff brings diverse knowledge in finance, marketing, sales, customer experience and performance assurance. His breath of finance and performance assurance expertise is based on 15 years in various budgeting, regulatory and performance assurance roles that include the development of customer experience metrics, driver analysis, and scorecards, as well as sales channel metrics and analysis. Jeff is Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified and served as a team lead for merger finance support and finance process improvement at the time of the Verizon acquisition.
His marketing roles include serving as a marketing/channel liaison and sales incentive and spurt strategy design and call center operations, desktop systems/tools support and overall performance management.
Cecilia Perez-Verdia brings more than 15 years of marketing experience to The TransSynergy Group. Working on both the corporate and agency side, Cecilia has built a reputation as a strategic thinker who delivers excellence every time. She is a tenacious, reliable team player with the ability to make sound business decisions in high pressure, high volume marketing environments.
Cecilia has deep breadth of strategy and marketing skills and leverages them to help companies create brand value and build customer acquisition programs through traditional and direct marketing channels. Prior to moving to Texas, Cecilia worked in New York, where she managed the marketing department at one of the largest Internet Service Providers in the country, Juno Online (now United Online). She also worked for other technology companies including Register.com and GTE (now Verizon) and helped to create and manage brand value for various client accounts as a strategy and brand consultant at Interbrand.
Cecilia has an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, where she also received her BA degree. She grew up in Mexico City and is a native Spanish speaker. She loves to paint, travel and spend time with her family.
Donna Trowbridge’s organizational acumen and consistent follow-up make her the perfect resource to manage associations run by volunteer boards. She helps clients with virtually all type of project management, operations, marketing or technology implementation. As a trusted TransSynergy employee for more than 10 years, Donna remains on our virtual team to manage associations, organize remote board meetings, run conventions and other face-to-face engagements.
Donna has a diverse background, including serving as administrator for a number of non-profit business associations, running IT operations for an investment banking firm, working sales and customer relations for leading circuit board manufacturers, working with the U.S. Department of Navy, plus numerous marketing projects. Her favorite pastimes are family gatherings, golf and traveling.
Lea’s attention to detail makes her a perfect resource for projects that have to be done right. She manages customer updates, creates announcements and presentations. She executes e-mail campaigns and updates websites. She monitors the results of marketing programs, creating a monthly dashboard report.
Her past experience in business and human resources gives her perspective to make decisions quickly and accurately. Lea spent 10 years as the business manager at Northwood University. Lea holds an MBA from Texas Woman’s University and a BBA in personnel management and organizational behavior from the University of North Texas.
Debbie Hall has spent the last 10 years serving in the nonprofit sector, allowing her the privilege of coordinating, developing and implementing a variety of special assignments in various roles such as Director of Montessori Advancement at Undercroft Montessori School in Tulsa OK, and Supporting Service Projects for City Missions, Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, TX. She is self-motivated and highly organized with a keen focus on the details and provides a friendly voice and marketing support for association and marketing clients. She holds a B.A. from McNeese State University, Lake Charles, LA.
Debbie has a passion for serving others and enjoys interacting with other compassionate people. At home, she loves entertaining and cooking for her family and friends.
Theresa Savoy-Main is an innovative marketing executive with experience building sustainable sources of revenue. Clients call on Theresa to design, launch and manage programs to acquire, retain and grow customer relationships. Her approach focuses on the customer experience across multiple channels, touch points and products. Theresa is well-versed in all areas of marketing and go-to-market processes.
Theresa is tapped to lead new initiatives or to breathe life into existing programs to grow revenues. Why? Because she is able to rapidly evaluate, execute and evolve programs. Clients value Theresa’s ability to translate their vision into tangible actions – collaborating with key stakeholders; revising segmentation and targeting strategies; arming the channels with the right tools and establishing relevant KPIs to measure results. Theresa is known for her ability to zoom in on strategic opportunities while executing tactical details.
Theresa has provided successful solutions for firms of all sizes including: Verizon (GTE); Accenture (Andersen Consulting), Apple Computer, Aztec Systems; Compaq; Drucker Labs; Frito-Lay; Hewlett-Packard; Implicit Monitoring; Texas American Bancshares.
Previously, Theresa led marketing efforts for CompuCom Systems, an IT solution provider, with sales growth from $350 MM to $1.25 Billion during her 4-year tenure. While at CompuCom, she built an integrated communications program to reposition the company as an IT solutions provider; developed marketing plans for new strategic business units and launched the first customer loyalty measurement program to provide feedback for service improvement.
Theresa earned an MBA at the University of North Texas and a BA in journalism at Louisiana State University.
Natalie, a recent graduate, is eager to learn new technologies and joins our Customer Experience team working on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) implementation. She is comfortable with technology, learns quickly, and has a drive for success. She’s an out-of-the-box creative thinker, helping solve challenges.
Natalie graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelors of Science, after majoring in Speech-Language Pathology.
Natalie lives in Weatherford and enjoys traveling, meeting new people and trying new things. She has a spirit for adventure.
Aamir is a hardworking, motivated professional. His interest in developing technologies and software has led him to develop a unique skill set in business intelligence and data analytics. He is a team player with strong communication skills and quickly understands and adapts to new processes.
Aamir graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A) in Management Information Systems and Supply Chain Management. He enjoys playing and watching sports, especially soccer, volleyball and tennis. He also enjoys traveling, making new friends and playing the drums.
