Donna Hegdahl - President and CEO
Donna Hegdahl is founder and president of The TransSynergy Group, a company she founded in 1995 to share her passion for marketing.
For large corporations, she and her team bring specialized skills, jump into assignments internal staff doesn’t have time to do, manage projects that don’t fit within the scope of other agencies, and provide a flexible team on initiatives with multiple changes in scope.
She has helped hundreds of small and mid-sized companies successfully get their message to the marketplace and grow their businesses. For entrepreneurial startups, she teaches them how to apply marketing principles at their own companies through strategic consulting services, public relations, seminars and workshops.
Hegdahl’s expertise includes all aspects of strategic and tactical marketing and communications.
Hegdahl has more than 30 years experience in marketing, communications, management, and customer service. Hegdahl was vice president at Micronyx, a Richardson-based software company. Ultimately, the company was sold to PC utility specialists, Fifth Generation Systems, and then merged with Symantec’s Peter Norton Group. She was also instrumental in the marketing success of Comtrol, a Minnesota-based hardware manufacturer, named to Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing high-tech firms in 1986 and 1987.

Hegdahl is a frequent speaker and presenter at industry gatherings. In her spare time, Donna runs and does yoga.
Jeff Baker has the ability to lead cross functional teams and has strong financial and data analytical skills. He is a strategic thinker with a broad knowledge of the communications industry. He has a BS degree in Marketing from the Ohio State University.
Jeff worked for Verizon/GTE for over 30 years. From those years of experience, Jeff brings diverse knowledge in finance, marketing, sales, customer experience and performance assurance. His breadth of finance and performance assurance expertise is based on 15 years in various budgeting, regulatory and performance assurance roles that include the development of customer experience metrics, driver analysis, and scorecards, as well as sales channel metrics and analysis. Jeff is Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified and served as a team lead for merger finance support and finance process improvement at the time of the Verizon acquisition.
His marketing roles include serving as a marketing/channel liaison and sales incentive and spurt strategy design and call center operations, desktop systems/tools support and overall performance management.
Donna has a diverse background, including serving as administrator for a number of non-profit business associations, running IT operations for an investment banking firm, working sales and customer relations for leading circuit board manufacturers, working with the U.S. Department of Navy, plus numerous marketing projects. Her favorite pastimes are family gatherings, golf and traveling.
Her past experience in business and human resources gives her perspective to make decisions quickly and accurately. Lea spent 10 years as the business manager at Northwood University. Lea holds an MBA from Texas Woman’s University and a BBA in personnel management and organizational behavior from the University of North Texas.
Lee Ann Stanford
Lee Ann brings years of business experience to the team. For 14 years she was President and CEO of a local printing company. In addition to her business acumen, years of focus on customer service means she delivers excellent support to clients – an important emphasis at TransSynergy. She provides diverse skills including retail experience in upscale furniture and home décor.
Lee Ann joined the team to manage nonprofit business associations as well as social media and marketing projects.
Lee Ann is married, with two children, two grandchildren, and three dogs. Her hobbies include antiquing, painting, sewing, and hiking.
Theresa Savoy-Main, MBA
Clients in the healthcare, benefits management, professional services, oil & gas, cpg and technology have counted on Theresa to help design go-to-market strategies and integrated action plans; evaluate new market opportunities; lead “test and learn” programs; launch new initiatives and manage crises.
Theresa is known for helping teams shift their perspective from what they do to WHO they serve – customers, employees, value chain partners, shareholders. She is valued for her ability to help clients “tie it all together” – target the right stakeholder groups; walk in their shoes and deliver unique value propositions that resonate with them across multiple points in the value chain. Theresa often works with executives and their frontline teams to help them focus on what matters most to the people they serve throughout every aspect of a program’s lifecycle – from strategy development to execution to measurement to pivot to evolution.
For two decades, Theresa has delivered value for Clients including oil & gas SaaS solution providers; “the largest-customer owned health insurer in the U.S.”; a biomedical device manufacturer; a specialized courier serving hospital system medical labs; a federally funded community health center; a private school managing COVID-19 challenges; a compliance solution for bio-pharma clients; a global communications leader; a top snack food brand; several multi-national professional services companies; and others.
